Citadel: Contrast Blood Angels Red (18Ml)

It cut my basecoating time in half on these space marine shoulder pads, and the deep crimson color is spot-on for the lore. The single-coat coverage actually works, which is a huge relief after struggling with thin reds.

One coat of this and my space marines' shoulders went from grey plastic to a deep, rich crimson in about ten minutes, shading included. The single-application coverage is seriously the best part—no layering or washes needed, just straight from the pot.

Finally a red that actually looks like deep crimson on the first pass. It still needed a little tidy-up on the flat panels for my taste, but the shading in the recesses is fantastic.
