Citadel: Base Macragge Blue 12Ml

One coat of this gives me perfect, even coverage over the black primer—no streaks at all. It dries to a nice matte finish that’s tough enough to handle a bit of handling while I paint the details.

This Macragge Blue covers beautifully in one coat, which saved a lot of time on my Space Marine shoulder pads. The paint is smooth right out of the pot without needing much thinning.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth this paint goes on straight from the pot—no thinning needed for most areas. The blue has a nice matte finish that works perfectly as a base coat. Only minor downside is the pot lid can be a bit tricky to reseal tightly.
