I needed a solid blue for my Ultramarines and this base coat covers the primer in just one thin layer. The consistency is creamy enough that it doesn't leave brush strokes, yet it holds detail perfectly for edge highlighting.

The color is a perfect, vibrant sky blue straight out of the pot. I only needed one thin coat for solid coverage on my space marine's pauldron, which saved a lot of time. It thinned down nicely with water for the recesses without losing its pigment strength.

Covers details in one smooth coat without any chalkiness, so my Space Marines look vibrant right away. I’ve used it straight from the pot with no thinning issues for most base layers.
