Citadel: Base Phoenician Purple 12Ml

Covered my Space Marine shoulder pads in a single smooth coat, and the deep plum tone really pops against lighter edge highlights. It dries to a nice matte finish that takes washes perfectly.

I was a bit worried about how vibrant it would look after drying, but the color depth on my Space Marine shoulder pads is exactly what I wanted. The consistency is perfect for thinning down without getting watery.

This purple covers in just one thin coat over a grey primer, which saved me a ton of time on my squad. The consistency is perfect right out of the pot—not too runny or thick. I’ve been using it for basecoating cloaks and pauldrons.
