I’ve been reading through 40K lore for years, and this book’s focus on a rarely explored faction really stood out to me. The atmosphere is pure grimdark, and the new narrative feels like a fresh addition to the setting.

The pacing is relentless right from the first chapter, and the way it expands on the 40K lore feels fresh without being confusing. I've already started a second read to catch details I missed the first time.

The grimdark atmosphere is perfectly captured in the prose, and the plot's twists kept me turning pages well past my bedtime. It captures the relentless scale of the 40K universe beautifully.
