Tyranidi: Tyranid Prime con Frusta

The detail on the lash whip is incredibly sharp—I spent an extra hour just painting the barbs and carapace ridges. It fits together cleanly with minimal gap-filling, which is a nice change from some other kits I've built. This guy will definitely stand out as the synapse anchor in my swarm.

The articulation on this model is fantastic, the way the lash whip curls around the carapace really sells the dynamic pose. I’ve been painting it for two days now and the fine details on the chitin plates are a joy to pick out.

The lash whip sculpt is a nasty piece of work, with those tendrils wrapping around the arm just the way I hoped. Painted up the carapace ridges in about an hour, and he's already the anchor of my synapse net on the tabletop.
