Citadel: Contrast Shyish Purple (18Ml)

The deep purple shade really makes the details on my chaos space marines pop. It flows nicely into recesses without needing a separate wash step. Dries to a nice matte finish that looks great on its own.

The coverage is so smooth that one coat gives me that deep, rich purple I want for cloaks and gems, and it flows into the recesses without pooling on the flat panels. Dries to a nice matte finish that makes the details pop, and the 18ml pot lasts a good while even with heavy use.

I’ve been using this shade for my space marine’s robes, and it lays down smoothly without needing too many coats. The deep purple is nice, but I wish the contrast effect were a bit more pronounced on smaller details. Still, a solid addition for any miniature painter’s palette.
