Splendor: 基本セット

The pace ramps up nicely as you move from collecting tokens to buying more powerful mines. I love how the engine-building mechanic makes each turn feel strategic without dragging on.

The gem-collecting mechanic is so smooth that every turn feels like a tiny puzzle, and the chip tokens have a satisfying weight that makes the whole Renaissance vibe tangible. I’ve already played three rounds in one sitting with friends, and the pace is just right for a quick but thinky game night.

I picked this up for our game night rotation and the engine-building aspect is really satisfying once you get the hang of it. Only wish the player count could go higher than four without needing an expansion.
