Madison ★★★★★

Ozrik’s elemental theme really shines through in his card abilities—every spell feels like it fits his backstory of burning bridges. The character art is sharp and the included tokens are a nice touch for tracking his damage. Played him twice now and he’s quickly become a favorite at game night.

Penelope ★★★☆☆

The card art is decent but feels a bit flat compared to other recent sets. His spells are fun to play, though I wish the instruction booklet explained the elemental damage tokens more clearly.

Michael ★★★☆☆

Ozrik's character flavor is fun—the burned bridges backstory actually makes me want to play him—but the mechanics feel a bit samey after a couple rounds. He works fine as an ally, just not as exciting as I hoped.
