These bear riders are incredibly tough — that 4 Wounds stat makes a huge difference on the battlefield. For the points cost they really anchor my Free Folk army's frontline.

Was a bit worried about the cost at 8 points per unit, but those 4 Wounds per model really pay off when they finally get into melee. The bear sculpts have a nice, aggressive pose that stands out on the table.

The bear riders really shine with those 4 Wounds each—they soak up hits way longer than you'd expect for their points. That said, the average defense means they still fold to focused fire, and honestly the assembly took longer than I'd like. Solid unit if you're patient with the hobby side.
