Warhammer Horus Heresy is a science fiction universe set in the distant future, where the Imperium of Man has conquered vast portions of the galaxy. The story revolves around the Horus Heresy, a civil war that breaks out when Horus, one of the Emperor's most trusted warriors, rebels against his leader and turns to the forces of Chaos. The conflict pits brother against brother and involves many of the major factions in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, including Space Marines, Titans, Imperial Guard, and Chaos Daemons. The narrative explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, honor, and sacrifice, as the Imperium faces its greatest existential threat yet.
