Ionus Cryptborn stands as one of the earliest and most formidable heroes among the Stormcast Eternals—a formidable Lord Relictor who has been a stalwart companion of the Hammers of Sigmar since the Realmgate Wars. Throughout extensive years, Ionus has dedicated himself to seeking a remedy for the effects of repeated Reforging, forming a close bond with the ancient Stormdrake, Cthorak. Now, as a momentous peril looms, he returns to aid Vandus Hammerhand and the Twin-Tailed Crusade in their struggle against the world's malevolence, accompanied by his scaly ally capable of unleashing soul-burning fire.

Jacob ★★★★★

The detail on his reliquary staff is incredible—every skull and scroll is crisp and clean. He feels weighty and substantial once assembled, really selling the "ancient hero" vibe.

Daniel O. ★★★★★

I was really impressed by the dynamic pose of Ionus Cryptborn—it captures the sense of a hero charging into battle perfectly. The sculpt on the reliquary staff has some nice sharp details that should paint up well.

Brian N. ★★★★★

The level of detail on Ionus Cryptborn's warscroll and model is incredible, the massive hourglass and celestial anchor really sell his power as a Lord Relictor. It’s a challenging but rewarding build that looks imposing on the tabletop once you get the wings positioned right.
