Class Description: In this workshop, we'll take a deeper dive into how to paint faces on a larger scale bust. We’ll look at how to portray not just the primary light but also bounce light, increasing the realism of painting. We’ll learn about how light interacts with skin in particular, both in terms of reflections and how and why we get color variation in the face.
You will be provided with a female academic bust. Students should bring their own brushes. Paints and wet palettes will be available in the class, however students can bring their own if they prefer.
