Class Description: Take the leap from 32mm tabletop work to a display-ready bust in this practical workshop. Designed for painters making their first transition to display pieces, the class walks you through scale changes, surface preparation, value control, focal point design, and finishing techniques that elevate a miniature into a centerpiece.

You’ll work on a supplied 1:12 Mindworks Gerald Brom Bust (paints provided; bring your own brushes) and learn how to plan a coherent paint scheme, refine brushwork for larger surfaces, manage time and layering, and add simple basing or presentation tips. By the end of the session you’ll have a solid workflow, the perfect launchpad from 32mm to showpiece painting.

Emma N. ★★★★★

I was worried a beginner class at a huge event like LVO would be overwhelming, but the step-by-step approach to display painting made everything click. The focus on building from a tabletop standard to a showcase piece was exactly what I needed.

Joshua ★★★★★

This class gave me a concrete workflow for display painting that I can actually follow. The instructor covered everything from initial prep to final showcase presentation, and I've already seen improvement in my first attempt.

Julian ★★★★☆

I was a little worried the class might be too basic for someone who's been painting for a while, but the hands-on tips for photo-ready displays were exactly what I needed. Took about an hour and a half, and I walked away with a solid technique I'll use at home. Only wish it ran a bit longer.
