Gamers Grass: Winter XL

Gamers Grass: Winter XL - Main image
$5.68 $8.11 In stock

Very pale tall tufts with a blend of light colours with some remnants of dark greens and browns. Best used to simulate frozen tall grasses and herbs from habitats with very cold climates. Also perfect to add some height and colour variation to your bases and dioramas.

This sheet contains around 36 different shaped extra large tufts for your scale models, hobby figures and scenic dioramas.

Tufts peel off the sheet one by one and they are ready to use. We recommend using a pair of tweezers for this. For a more tough and permanent fix, you can use a little PVA glue.

Steven ★★★★★

These really sell the look of a windswept, frozen field—the pale, blended colors are spot-on. I used them for a snowy tundra base and the mix of light tones with a hint of dark green adds so much more depth than plain white grass. My army bases finally have that dead-of-winter feel.

Miles ★★★★☆

I was worried these would look too artificial, but the blend of light colors with the dark green and brown remnants gives a really realistic frozen look. They're a bit delicate to handle, so just be gentle when gluing them down.

Julian ★★★☆☆

The tufts look nice on the base, but they’re a bit too uniform in length to feel truly natural. I had to mix them with shorter grasses for a more realistic frozen field effect.
