Terra Média: Fortaleza de Dol Guldur

The ruined towers and battlements have so much detail that each piece feels like a real fortress. I love how the central keep fits together cleanly without needing much cleanup. It really adds atmosphere to our Mirkwood scenarios.

Took me an evening to assemble, but the level of detail on the fortress walls and towers is unreal—it really captures that looming, sinister feel of Mirkwood’s shadow. Playing with it on the tabletop immediately made our battles feel more cinematic, and the kit fits perfectly with the base game.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much detail is packed into the Dol Guldur terrain—the crumbling stonework on the towers really sets the mood for a Mirkwood encounter. The plastic fits together well, though a couple of the smaller battlements needed a bit of filing to sit flush.
