Spearhead: Ossiarch Bonereapers: Kavalos Vanguarda

I wanted a strong cavalry core for my army, and this box delivers exactly that—the Knights of the Cleaver are surprisingly detailed for plastic, with crisp armor and bony steed heads. It’s a solid one-box force that feels complete right out of the gate, perfect for fast-paced games.

I was impressed how easily the Kavalos Vanguard box builds into a full Spearhead force right out of the box, and the cavalry models have a satisfying weight to them. The instructions were clear, which made assembly a breeze even for a newer painter like me.

The cavalry sprue is really well designed—the horses' dynamic poses make them feel like they're charging. Assembly took a bit longer than expected due to some fiddly ribs on the infantry, but the final look is worth it for a Spearhead-ready force.
