Citadel: Base Khorne Red 12Ml

After struggling to get a solid red over black primer, this paint finally did the job in just two thin coats without any chalkiness. The deep crimson tone is exactly what I needed for my Blood Angels shoulder pads.

Finally, a red that covers in one coat on black primer — my Blood Angels are coming together so much faster now. The consistency is perfect for basecoating, not too thick or runny.

It does what it says and the deep red covers well in two thin coats, which is nice for basecoating. But the pot design leaks a bit if you knock it over, and for 12ml the price feels a little steep. Decent paint, just not the most convenient to work with.
