Citadel: Shade Athonian Camoshade 18Ml

The 18ml bottle is plenty for a bunch of models, and the wash settles into recesses just right without making the flat panels look muddy. I’ve used it on a few camo schemes now, and the subtle green tint gives the shading a natural depth that’s hard to get with regular paints.

I was worried this shade would be too green, but on my Ork Boyz it gives just the right amount of swampy depth to the armor and skin. The 18ml pot is small but lasts through plenty of models since you only need a tiny bit.

The wash goes on smoothly without pooling, which is a relief. I just wish the bottle was a bit bigger for the price, but the subtle shading effect is exactly what my models needed.
