Citadel: Base Hobgrot Hide 12ml

I was a bit worried about the shade, but this tan ochre base paint covers really well in just one coat. It’s the perfect match for my Hobgrot project.

The ochre tone is exactly what I needed for my Hobgrot bases, and the coverage is surprisingly smooth right out of the pot. One thin coat did most of the work, and it dried to a nice matte finish that takes washes well.

It's a decent enough base paint, but the color in the pot doesn't match what I expected from the name. The coverage is okay for a base paint, though it needs two thin coats for a solid finish. I guess it works fine if you're painting hobgrots, but for a general tan it feels limited.
