The Army Painter: Warpaint, Wolf Grey

I was worried about brush strokes showing, but the coverage is so smooth and opaque that one coat did the trick. Perfect match to the spray primer too, which saves me a headache when touch-ups are needed.

The pigment load is impressive—this single coat covered my grey plastic primer perfectly. It thins nicely for layering but has enough body for base coating right out of the bottle.

This Wolf Grey dries to a smooth matte finish that needs no thinning straight out of the bottle. The heavy pigment really does give excellent coverage, even over a dark undercoat. I’ve been using it for edge highlights and it layers beautifully.
