The translucent wings on this ray glow nicely once you add a wash, and the pre-primed surface took paint without any prep work. Assembly was basically just popping it off the sprue, which left me more time to actually paint.

The Vallejo primer is a huge time-saver, so I could jump straight into basecoating without any prep work. The translucent parts on the wings catch light beautifully once painted, and it barely needed any cleanup at the sprue points.

The wings on this flying ray are beautifully detailed, and the Vallejo primer took the paint perfectly with no chipping. I was surprised how little flash there was—just a quick snip and it was ready to go.
