FLG Mats: Metropolis

The non-slip rubber backing keeps it perfectly flat even during intense games, and the 3mm thickness provides just enough cushion for dice rolls. I was worried about creases from shipping, but it laid flat within an hour.

The cityscape artwork is genuinely crisp and sharp once it's laid flat, the high-res print makes the streets pop. It lays perfectly flat right out of the package, which is a relief after dealing with curled mats before. Just wish the edges were a bit more durable after repeated folding.

The colors on this mat are really sharp, which makes the city map easy to read during a game. My only minor gripe is that it doesn't lie perfectly flat right out of the package, but a little weight on the corners sorted it out fast.
