The Jarl model alone is worth it—so much detail in the cloak and axe. Assembly took me an evening, but the command cards make getting these three units to the table straightforward.

The bases snap in securely and the assembly instructions are clear, so I had my raiders ready to play in under an hour. The infantry stands are a thoughtful touch for keeping the line organized during a game. Perfect set for trying out a new faction.

I was surprised by how crisp the detail is on the Huskarls—the chainmail texture is really clear for such small scale figures. The command cards add a nice strategic layer right out of the box, too.
