CATAN – Soccer Fever

The match cards and dice add a fun layer of strategy to the usual resource trading. My group had a blast building stadiums and cheering for our teams during the season. It’s a clever twist that keeps everyone engaged from kickoff to final whistle.

The soccer theme actually changes the game up nicely—trading feels more urgent when you’re trying to back the winning hometown teams. Setup was quick, and the match cards keep everyone involved even between turns. A fun twist that’s already hit our table twice this week.
