Tyranids: Biovore

I finally got a unit that feels like it can actually shape the battlefield; the indirect fire rules let me hit units hiding behind cover, which is a huge upgrade over my earlier artillery pieces. The renewed energy on the model gives it a menacing stance that stands out on the table. Very glad I pic

The spore mine scattering mechanic is exactly what I needed for my artillery line, and the indirect fire rule makes them devious to deploy. The model’s chitinous detailing really pops once painted.

I bought this to add some ranged support to my army, and I'm happy with the way the spore mine launcher fits into the squad. The indirect fire ability is exactly what I needed for certain table setups. Only minor complaint is the legs feel a bit too thin for the body.
