Grand Cathay: Iron Hail & Crane Gunners

I was a bit worried about the fragility of the crane guns, but the multipart plastic kit assembles cleanly and each piece fits snugly. The detail on the gunners' armor and the crane birds' feathers is sharp enough to paint up nicely without much cleanup.

The multipart plastic allows for easy magnetizing of the different gunner options, which I appreciate for building out my force. The crane guns balance on the models' bases quite nicely, and the detail on the iron hail weapons is crisp.

The Crane Gunners are surprisingly easy to assemble for such detailed models, and the long-barreled rifles look fantastic when lined up on the firing base. They add a real sense of disciplined volley fire to the battlefield.
