Vallejo: Primer, Ultramarine 17 ml.

Applied this ultramarine with a brush and it went on smooth without pooling or losing any detail on my space marine. The coverage is excellent, one thin coat is enough to cover the plastic cleanly. Dried to a nice matte finish that takes acrylic paint perfectly.

I was worried about brush-on primer leaving streaks, but this one self-levels smoothly even over detailed armor panels. The ultramarine shade gives a rich, consistent base that saves me a full coat of paint later.

I’ve been using this ultramarine primer to prep my minis and the coverage is impressively smooth right out of the bottle—no clumping at all. It dries to a solid base that grabs paint nicely, and the 17 ml tube has lasted me through several squads.
